Good morning, world! We’d like to take a moment and introduce ourselves to you. We’re a new company, formed to make a difference in the places where we like to play – in field and forest, and on lake and river.

The Outdoor Kind, LLC, is a family-based organization that strives to be a good corporate citizen and socially-responsible company. A portion of the proceeds from every sale goes to our core mission – supporting first responders in rural and wilderness areas, as well as conducting educational outreach to prevent outdoor emergencies from occurring.

Our first products are part of the “I am the Outdoor Kind!” apparel line of t-shirts and sweatshirts. We hope the design and sentiment bring as big a smile to your face as they do to ours. “The Outdoor Kind” is a play on words, of course – it’s not just about being a certain type of person, but about being kind to the outdoors as well.

In the coming months, we’ll also unveil our “SupportTheFirst.org” campaign, in which 100% of the proceeds from select apparel and gear will go to our support-and-outreach activities – and help those out in the field that stand ready to help us.

We’ll increase our product line as time goes on, too, introducing new designs for new activities – hiking, bicycling, fishing, yoga, climbing, running, snowshoeing…you name it!
